Another effect based on an idea by Jim Steinmeyer from his book Device & Illusion. You really should have this book in your Library. If you don't then get it. What you get is a wooden box made from baltic birch and trimmed in white wood or cherry, depending on what I have on stock stained in cherry, sealed,sanded,sealed again and finished with a clear satin laquer. Everything is bolted together. Lid is held with four locks. Box is examined and rope run through the holes. Box is locked shut. Rope is tied to your assistant, cover pulled up and spectator pulls on other end of rope. Cover is dropped and lid is removed. Assistant is found inside with rope still tied to her. Everything you need to perform this is included(except assistant).
