Although mitered joints are nicer looking, we used rabbet joints for strength. Back table frame is cut out for ease of lapping etc. Table frame is put together with screws for easy removal, in case the green Mali cloth should ever need replaced. The table top has a 1/4" padding under Mali cloth for ease of steals, etc. Front drawers are false. Back drawer is installed with ball bearing glides for ease of operating drawer. Table under skirting is 10" to hide any lapping. Custom woods available at the going market rate. Standard table made from white wood, Baltic birch and cherry trim. Finished with a cherry stain. Sealed and hand rubbed and coated with a clear satin lacquer. Bottoms of legs have nylon glides for floor protection. Not just a magic table it's a piece of fine furniture.
